How NutriCharge® works—for PHOSPHORUS

NutriCharge logo

Get maximum benefits for your crops with NutriCharge®. Our patented innovation addresses challenges in soil phosphorus fertilization, improving fertilizer application and delivering higher returns.
NutriCharge® also enhances the uptake of locked up phosphorus for maximum crop growth.

THE SCIENCE
NutriCharge® is a patented anionic molecule that improves the availability of phosphorus in soil by complexing with positive ions, which can bind to and limit its availability.
Soil pH affects the concentration of positive ions and thus, the availability of phosphorus, but NutriCharge® overcomes this challenge by making more phosphorus available to the plant, regardless of soil pH.

GETTING PHOSPHORUS WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE, WHEN IT NEEDS TO BE THERE, IN A FORM THE PLANT CAN USE.

P PBI

NutriCharge and PBI
What is PBI?

PBI (Phosphorus Buffering Index) is a measurement of your soil’s tendency to chemically adsorb Phosphorus (P). The higher the PBI, the quicker and more strongly P binds to soil particles.

Stronger soil binding means that there is less P available to plant roots.
Think of P adsorption a bit like magnetic binding. The strength of attraction depends on the nature of the materials and the strongest attractor wins (root or soil).

NutriCharge counteracts the PBI of a soil (only localised). The higher the soil PBI the more pronounced the result.

PBI is not the only factor to get a positive response from NutriCharge.

NUTRICHARGE® DOUBLES YOUR PHOSPHORUS AVAILABILITY

Starter fertilizers are designed to provide quick release of phosphorus to the plant during early growth stages, but can still be subject to tie-up in the soil.

Up to 75% of applied phosphorus may become unavailable to the plant, resulting in lost yield potential and reduced ROI for farmers.

 NUTRICHARGE® PROVIDES SEASON LONG PROTECTION

From early growth to seed fill, phosphorus is critical for healthy plant growth and development. It plays a crucial role in supporting the plant's reproductive processes, including pollination.

Without adequate levels of phosphorus, plants may experience stunted growth and reduced yields.
NutriCharge® delivers this through it patented technology that delivers more avaliable phosphorus over a six month period.
